Meet our wonderful Instructors
Terry has been active in the fitness industry for the past 22 years. Terry spent the last 4 years as an instructor in PA and is now back in NH.
Teaching multiple fitness classes in the past, Terry has continued her love of Spinning® as a life time certified instructor with Madd Dogg Athletics.
Terry is an avid road cyclist. Riding as often as weather permits with her husband Lou, also participating in many fund raising events throughout the year.
Joanne teaches Stott ® Pilates Mat and equipment based classes for individuals and small groups, TRX® and CORE®
classes. She leads small groups and does personal training in our Functional Fitness Center.
Joanne has enjoyed being in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She has worked as a fitness director, program director and instructor in settings as diverse as YMCA's, award winning multi purpose clubs, corporations and senior living communities. She holds certifications in CPR / AED, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Exercise Instructor, ACE Personal Trainer, Stott Pilates Mat & Reformer, The Physical Mind Pilates and TRX® Suspension Training.
She holds a BS degree in Therapeutic Recreation.
Joanne has lived in Amherst since 1998.
Cheri is a Kripalu yoga teacher who specializes in blending many styles of yoga and functional anatomy-based yoga sequences to make yoga accessible to people of all ages, fitness levels and abilities. She has been teaching group classes, private yoga and meditation classes for over 15 years. She teaches gentle through advanced Kripalu Yoga, restorative and yin yoga, meditation, pranayama and stress reduction as well as vinyasa and hot yoga. Cheri began practicing yoga in 1999 and completed her 200 hour Kripalu yoga certification in 2003. She is also CPR/AED certified and holds a BA degree in Women's Studies. When not teaching yoga, she enjoys walking, knitting, watercolor painting and nature photography. She lives in Nashua with her husband and her adult special needs child.
Ronda teaches Spinning®, Tabata® and CORE®, classes.
Ronda is a fitness enthusiast and fell in love with Spinning® after taking her first class in 1998. She has been spinning since and loves it so much she decided to get certified through Mad Dogg Athletics. Her goal is to create classes that will challenge, strengthen, and motivate riders. She has found Spinning® to be more than just a physically challenging exercise, but also a mental challenge as well. Spinning® is a powerful and fun tool in the development of a strong mind and body.
In addition to her Mad Dogg Certification for Spinning®, she is also an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Group Exercise Instructor.
Ronda lives in Brookline with her husband, two boys and two dogs who keep her very active.
Beth enjoys teaching in the small group format. She leads functional fitness/strength, spincore, small group spinning, triathlon training as well as group classes in boot camp, cardio-coreball, coreball, Zumba, Total Body workout and the Strong for Life CSB classes.
Beth has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. Her responsibilities have included program director and instructor for large and small clubs, youth fitness programs in schools and instruction in senior living communities. Her certifications include American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, TRX Suspension Training, Madd Dog Spinning (Level 3), Resist-a-ball, Zumba, and ACE youth fitness.
She holds a BS degree in Biochemistry.
Beth has lived in Amherst since 1991 with her husband, three children and chocolate lab, Mickey.
Elise teaches Piloxing and YOSTRENGTH
Elise found fitness in her forties. A former elementary school teacher, she decided she needed to share her new found love for fitness by becoming a certified personal trainer and a group exercise leader. She loves continuing to learn and sharing what she learns with others.
She is certified for personal training by the NSCA and holds group exercise certifications in Piloxing Barre, Piloxing SSP, Pound, and PiYo.
Elise lives in Bedford and is married with two teenage children, a cat and a dog that make her life full and busy
Kelly teaches Barre. She has been involved in dance from a very young age, beginning her training at Granite State Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre. Her love of fitness and dance led her to certifications in Barre from Barre Boston, Group Exercise and Zumba. Kelly has taught at many local dance studios and fitness centers.
Nancy teaches YOSTRENGTH, Spinning® and TRX® classes.
Nancy is a former aerobics instructor who found yoga to be a muscle strengthening, stretching and balancing practice both physically and mentally.
Her certifications include AFAA, Yogafit® and a David Swenson teacher training. She has been teaching yoga since 2002 at several clubs and studios in the greater Nashua area.
Laura teaches Saturday Kripalu Yoga. She has been involved in the recreation, health and wellness industry with the YMCA since 2000, and a practitioner of Yoga since 2004. When not on her yoga mat, Laura enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, canoeing, running, knitting and spending time with her partner and family.
Laura holds a BS in Recreation and Leisure Administration and received her 200 hr RYT from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She is presently working towards becoming a Yoga Therapist.
Laura and her family recently moved to Amherst from the Catskills of NY!
Cyndi teaches Yoga Tabata Method here at Trilogy.
Experience/Certifications/Education: AFAA Certified since 1987, Les Mills BodyPump, BodyFlow, CXWORX, Outdoor Boot Camp Certification, Pilate's Mat work Specialty Certification, Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Fit.
Interests: Skiing, camping, traveling, gardening, photography and spending lots of time with my family...and I'm sure there are many more I have forgotten right now?
Why I love Fitness: Fitness is important to me because it makes me feel strong and positive about myself physically and mentally. I enjoy sharing that with people and helping others to realize their full potential. I love to develop new class ideas because I believe it helps keep myself motivated and those participating in my classes. Hope to see you soon...we will be sure to work hard!
Susan has been involved in movement and fitness for over 20 years. She teaches pilates, zumba, yoga classes as well as personal training and small group fitness. She has taught classes in dance studios, fitness clubs, corporate fitness centers, and senior and YMCA facilities.
Her certifications include, Stott Pilates, Zumba, Personal Trainer (American Council Of Exercise), Group Exercise (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America), Yogafit, Resist-a-ball, and TRX.
She has a B.S. in Health and Fitness and majored in dance. Fitness and creating a healthy lifestyle is what she strives to give her clients.
